PLEASE READ: Youth sports continue to be "closed" for Butte County. Schools in the county are unable to meet in person until the county is off the watch list. We were hoping for a different path during this pandemic and we are disappointed, yet we feel it is best to cancel the fall 2020 season given the circumstances. We are able to issue refunds to anyone who signed up and more information will be forthcoming for those who registered for soccer. We look forward to coming back to Riverbend in 2021. We hope your families stay safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. Thank you, OYSC Board of Directors As a recreational soccer league, we are not a competitive league. Therefore, the skills development is in line with our mission. We hope you’ll join us in providing a great experience for our kids to become better athletes. ![]() Rule Changes: Cal-North has implemented a new rule that there will be no Heading of the ball for younger players. This means no heading at practice or in games at the U13 level and below. If a player heads a ball in the game it will result in an indirect kick for the other team. This mandate is to protect the players as they develop and mature to be strong enough to properly head a ball. Thank you for the help and support as we implement this new rule. OYSC |
