OUR MISSION
Oroville Youth Soccer Club is committed to an atmosphere of teamwork, sportsmanship and respect while developing individual soccer skills and fostering attitudes of spirit, cooperation and responsibility within the youth of the Greater Oroville Area. OYSC SOCCER SEASON RELOCATION UPDATE: This will be updated when FRRPD confirms the rehabilitation of Riverbend will be completed on time. The safety of our players, coaches, referees and their family and friends is our top priority. As a board, we have made the decision to relocate all U5-U13 soccer games to Nelson Complex for the 2017 season. Our games will be played on the outfields of the baseball fields. While the grass needs some water and conditions may be less than ideal, we are confident that we can make it work for one season until Riverbend Park is repaired. (see map at link below) U16-U19 teams will play at Central Middle School. The OYSC Board hopes this relocation plan reassures all involved that we are committed to a safe and enjoyable soccer season. We would also like to thank the many sponsors who are supporting us this year especially our corporate sponsors including Oroville Hospital, Taco Bell, Dick's Sporting Goods, Walmart Supercenter, Oroville Ford, Round Table Pizza and Metal Works. Without the support of these businesses and all the local businesses who support our teams as sponsors, club soccer for the kids in the Oroville Community would not be possible. Oroville Youth Soccer Club games will be held at Nelson Sports Complex for u5, u7, u9, u11, and U13.

![]() Rule Changes: Cal-North has implemented a new rule that there will be no Heading of the ball for younger players. This means no heading at practice or in games at the U13 level and below. If a player heads a ball in the game it will result in an indirect kick for the other team. This mandate is to protect the players as they develop and mature to be strong enough to properly head a ball. Thank you for the help and support as we implement this new rule.
